Religious folks talk a lot about "good news"...
...oddly enough while many talk about good news they often
look like their world is filled with only bad news (but perhaps that's a topic
for another time)
Have you ever stopped to think about the good news
package? What are religious folk
selling?
For some it’s pretty clear that the good news is “you can be
healthy, wealthy and wise… like me!”
For others, clearly “good news” refers to some other world…
or at least some other place…
Some folks think that it is all about saying the right
religious words, in the right way, to the right people, at the right time…
Some folks reduce it to believing the right stuff… but what
does that mean? How do you know if a
person truly believes? What is the
outward proof of having received the “good news”? If that “proof” is present does that make the
person a believer or is it the other way around?
What is the good news and how does one get it… or better yet…
live it?
...just askin'...
